Frances A. (Dillon) Coughlin, of Malden, formerly of Somerville, died at the Westerly Hospital in Westerly, RI on June 28, 2011 at the age of 90. Frances was born in Boston, raised in Somerville and a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1939. She was a homemaker who resided in Somerville & Malden for most of her life and enjoyed painting & spending time with her family at many family gatherings. Frances was the beloved wife of the late Daniel Joseph Coughlin. Loving mother of Michael Patrick Coughlin of Westerly, RI. Caring sister of Eileen Dillon, Grace Feeney, Thomas Dillon and Clare Fitzgerald; also of the late Mary Jones, Raymond Dillon, Patricia O'Neill and Dorothy Coleman. Also survived by many beloved nieces & nephews. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Saturday July 2nd at 11:30AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Friday from 4-8PM. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Melrose.
