Frances P. (Simmons) DiNocco died after a long illness at Melrose Wakefield Hospital Feb. 9th at the age of 85. She was born and brought up in East Boston, graduated from East Boston High. Frances lived most of her life in Somerville, Saugus for 19yrs and Stoneham the past 18yrs. She worked as a registered licensed optician for Dr. Maynard Rosen at the Coolidge Corner Opticians in Somerville for 33yrs. Frances was also a longtime member of Incarnation Church in Melrose. She was the wife of the late Romeo DiNocco. Mother of Janice M. Tarello of Stoneham. Grandmother of Mark J. Tarello of Iowa. Aunt of Betty F. Levenson of Stoneham. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Wed. Feb. 14th at 9 AM. Funeral mass in The Church of the Incarnation 425 Upham St. Melrose at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tues. 6-9 PM. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
