Frances B. (Vittorini) Picardo passed away at Elmhurst Nursing Home in Melrose on Sunday Sept. 7th at the age of 78. Frances was born and raised in Malden, attended Malden Schools, lived in Medford for a few years and the past 32 years in Melrose. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of St. Mary's Church in Melrose. Frances was the wife of the late Orlando J. Picardo. Mother of Steven A. Picardo and Laura L. Moylon both of Melrose. Mother-in-law of Robert G. Moylon of Melrose and the late Patricia Picardo. Sister of Eleanor Robinson & her husband Bill of Melrose, Sylvia Cranfill of Malden, William Cavalieri of Medford and Paul Cavalieri of Wakefield. Grandmother of Stephanie Picardo of Melrse and the late Amanda Picardo. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Wed. Sept. 10th at 8AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 9AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose.
