Francis J. "Frank" Grealish passed away at the Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading on Saturday May 10th at the age of 82. Frank was born and raised in South Boston, and was a graduate from both South Boston High School and Boston University. Mr. Grealish served his country with pride in the US Army during the Korean War as a rifleman and was a bronze star recipient. He lived in Braintree for 20 years, and spent several years living in Medford, Ossipee (NH), Mexico, and Burlington. Mr. Grealish worked as a salesman in the wholesale fish business for over 30 years with several companies finishing his career with Crocker & Winsor Seafood in South Boston. Frank enjoyed hiking, skiing, golfing, jogging, and spending time at his home of over 2 decades on Lake Ossipee, NH. He liked traveling to Mexico and taking his grandchildren into Boston to visit Castle Island, the Aquarium, Fan Pier and other local attractions. Mr. Grealish was the husband of the late Lupita Grealish, former husband of Barbara Reincke, and close companion of Louise LoPresti. Father of Kevin Grealish of Westwood and the late Sheila Bestick. Grandfather of Alyson Grealish, Katelyn Grealish, Sheila Wood, Melissa Bestick, Michael LoPresti, Toni LoPresti and Elizabeth LoPresti. Brother of Anna Mae Crowley, Jerry Grealish & Jim Grealish. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home on Thursday May 15th from 3:00-6:00PM, followed by a funeral service at 6PM. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private.
