Frank W. Bushee passed away at home on Sept. 21st at the age of 79. Frank was born in Everett, raised in Melrose, attended Melrose Schools and lived in Melrose until 1969, when he moved to Middleton. Frank entered US Navy in December of 1943, was a WWII Navy Veteran, serving for 3 years on several vessels. After the US Navy he worked as a machinist for the Sylvania Corporation for 20 years and then for BASF of Burlington for over 20 years. He was an avid Red Sox and sports fan. He is survived by his wife Helen T. (Smith) Bushee. Father of Michael F. Bushee & his wife AnnMarie of Middleton, Theresa A. Turcotte & her husband Ronald of Howell, NJ and Linda J. Barritt & her husband Richard of Mont Vernon, NH. Brother of Robert of Wakefield, George of ME, Edward of Peabody, John Bushee of Melrose, Irma Doucette of Melrose, Barbara Whitford of AZ and the late Wilfred, Thomas, Raymond, Freeman, Joseph, Ernest, Arthur Bushee & Louise Sheridan. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Sat. Sept. 25th, at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8PM. Burial in Oakdale Cemetery in Middleton.
