Frank P. Limone died at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on November 30, 2020 at the age of 67. Frank was born in Boston, on March 11, 1953 to the late Joseph & Laura (Apruzzese) Limone. He was raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1971. A lifelong resident of Melrose, Frank enjoyed spending time at the family summer home on Long Beach in Rockport, MA. Mr. Limone worked for the MBTA as a train operator on the Orange Line for many years. He enjoyed cars, boating and loved going out to eat with family & friends. In his later years he was well know for driving his golf cart or scooter all around downtown in Melrose.
Frank is survived by his brother Peter Limone & his late wife Carol, Nina McCarthy & her husband William and his longtime companion Lauren Temples. He was the uncle of Judi Limone Hayes & her husband Brian and Jessica McCarthy. Great uncle of Kyle & Anna Hayes. Also survived by numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 11:00AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be in Frank's name to Melrose Rotary Polio Plus, P.O. Box 761196, Melrose, MA 02176.
