Frank S. Renzella, of Malden, died at his home surrounded by family on Feb. 25, 2015 at the age of 87. Frank was born & raised in Malden and attended Malden High School. He worked as an Upholsterer for Lounge Upholstery in Brockton for many years and Star Upholstery in Malden for over 20 years before his retirement. Frank resided in Malden his whole life and was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Malden. He enjoyed & played golf at the Hillview Golf Club in N. Reading and played in an over 70 golf league. Frank loved gardening, bowling, playing cards and traveling to Aruba, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, all the Caribbean islands, Africa and Spain. The most important part of his life was spending time with his family & friends. Frank was the beloved husband of the late Olympia A. "Lee" (Grieco) Renzella for 60 years. Loving father of Linda A. Murphy of Saugus and Paul B. Renzella of Nahant. Caring grandfather of James Murphy IV of Saugus, Kristen Dorsky & her husband Adam, Brian Murphy & his wife Corey, all of Lynnfield and April Renzella of Nahant. Devoted brother of Mary DiGiacomo & her late husband Armando, Yolanda DiBattista & her late husband Ernest, Albert Renzella & his late wife Jennie, all of Malden, the late Joseph Renzella & his wife Lillian of Burlington, and the late Margaret DiGiacomo & her late husband Charles, the late Catherine Drinkwater & her late husband Fred and the late Peter Renzella & his late wife Carmela. Cherished great grandfather of Olivia, Christian and Mila Murphy. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Visiting hours on Sunday from 3:00- 7:00PM at the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home on Monday, March 2nd at 8AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St., Joseph's Church, 770 Salem St., Malden at 9AM.
