Frederick T. Mullett died at Lahey Clinic in Burlington Dec. 24th at the age of 75. Fred was born and raised in Malden and has lived in Melrose the past 28 years. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Trimont Co. in Malden for 41 years retiring in 1990. He was a member of Local #4 International Union of Operating Engineers, served in the US Navy during WWII and was a member of the Saugus VFW. He was the husband of the late Doris A. (White ) Mullett. Father of Linda Comeau of Wakefield, Marjorie White of Stoneham, Frederick T. Mullett Jr. of NH and Carrie Smith of Stoneham. Brother of John Mullett of ME, Marion Herrlinger of MN and the late Agnes Niles and Walter Mullett. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and Beloved friend Rosemary DiNardo of Everett. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W Foster St Melrose on Sat Dec 28 at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1155 Main St Wakefield at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited Visiting hours Fri 2 - 4 & 7 -9 PM. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose.
