Tosi and Marie T. Brown Tosi of Melrose MA, grandson Kevin M. Connors Jr. of Wilmington MA, and her son in law Thomas C. Gramstorff of Londonderry NH, and many beloved family and friends.
Gail, good natured and devilish, as described in her high school yearbook, is also remembered as a fabulous, fun-loving, adventurous, wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin and friend. Noni to her grandchildren, Mom to her kids, and friend to many. Gail was a community builder, a master at organizing and hosting events from countless parties, card games, celebrations, and cook outs on Cutter St in Melrose, MA, to Christmas Eve gatherings in North Port, FL and to her many class reunions. No matter where she went Gail found a way to help bring people together. Welcoming and loving, always striving to connect with people and people with each other, she was the best example of love and community service, giving from the heart. Gail took great joy in her family and friends and in organizing her class reunions for the Melrose High School class of 1960, with their 64th reunion held in August of 2024. She loved crocheting and crocheted hundreds of blankets for classmates, friends and family and passed that love down to her grandchildren. Said and felt by many, Gail is the glue that will always hold us together. Proud and loving, and at times too stubborn, more interested in you then herself, she was not shy in engaging in conversation, asking where you are from, or what was troubling you, her empathy was bottomless.
Never one to say no to a trip to visit family and friends or Las Vegas, with her sweetheart John, Gail loved an adventure. Known for her love of the slots, playing poker and cribbage, she was quick to share her winnings but not too quick to say how much she won. She had a passion for yard sales and flea markets as it was the bartering that she enjoyed and of course a bargain too! For those who met her, they did not soon forget her, a sharp memory for names and faces she strived for connection. Voted most talkative by her high school class, her high school yearbook shows her power of connecting with people with a caricature of her holding a phone, and the phone became her means of keeping lifelong connections to her family and her community who had spread out across the globe. As her health diminished and her ability to travel became limited, she continued to be engaged, continued to love, and reach out to those she loved. She ended her phone calls often with "I love you more then my luggage" or "I love you more", leaving a smile and a sense of being loved on the receiving end, to say that she will be missed is an understatement. We are grateful for all her blessings and though are hearts ache for one more "I love you", one more hug, we are grateful she is no longer in pain. "All our love, All our lives".
