Geneva M. (Mennina) Lane died after a short illness at Whidden Hospital in Everett Dec. 31st at the age of 97. She was born in Boston, raised in Revere, graduated from Revere High School and Burdette Business School in Boston. Geneva worked as a bookkeeper in the food service industry for several years and has lived in Melrose for over 50yrs. She was the wife of the late William J. Lane. Daughter of the late Augustine & Rachel ( Annese) Mennina. Also survived by several cousins. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W Foster St Melrose on Fri Jan 4 at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, corner of Myrtle & Herbert Sts, Melrose at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited. There are no visiting hours. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemtery, Melrose.
