Gennaro Fasano passed away at the Golden Living Elmhurst Nursing Home in Melrose on March 26, 2013. He was 87 years of age. Gennaro was born in East Boston, MA on September 11, 1925 to the late Michael & Josephine (Carpinielli) Fasano. He was raised in East Boston and graduated from East Boston High School. Mr. Fasano lived in Chelsea for several years, then Revere for many years before moving to Melrose in 2005. Gennaro worked as a chef in the hotel & restaurant business in Boston for over 40 years. Mr. Fasano was the husband of the late Helen (Przybylski) Fasano. Brother of Mary Gulino of Melrose and Dora LoConte of Medford. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and grand nieces & grand nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St. Wakefield on Monday, April 1st at 10AM. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. Interment at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
