George H. Arsenault passed away in Reading on Feb. 5th at the age of 79. George was born and raised in Reading and has been a lifelong resident. Mr. Arsenault was a flooring mechanic with Wayne Anderson Company of Tewksbury for over 30 years. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed summering in Meredith NH for 35 years and golfing at Oak Hill Golf Course in Meredith. George was a WWII Army Veteran. He was the husband of Barbara L. (Robinson) Arsenault. Brother of Sister Irene Arsenault SSH of Taunton, May Smart of Stoneham, Mildred Simone of Woburn, Marie Perry of RI, Edward Arsenault of Melrose and the late Leo Arsenault, Winifred Paulson & Stella OLigny. Also survived by numerous, nieces, nephews, grand nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Thurs. Feb. 10th, at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wed. 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
