Obituary

George F. McGee died at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital June 5th after a long illness at the age of 83. He was born and raised in Everett, graduated from Everett High School and has been living in Melrose for over 40yrs. George worked as a warehouse manager for several companies in the Boston area and worked for McGrath Storage & Warehouse Inc. of Somerville for over 20yrs. He served in the US Army during WWII as a Technical Sergeant and was a former member of the Melrose Fish & Game Club. George was the husband of the late Anna M. (Thibeau) McGee. Brother of Sister Mary Amata RSM of AR, Alfred Z. McGee of Melrose and the late Paul, Thomas, John, Ralph, Robert McGee, Virginia Vaughan and Mary Botto. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Mon. June 10th at 9AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St. Melrose at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sun 2-6 PM. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Mary's Church Vision 2000 46 Myrtle St. Melrose 02176. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose. WWII Army Veteran.
