Obituary

George Prado passed away at DYouville Senior Care in Lowell, on Sept. 16, 2005, he was 98. George was born and raised in Raynham and was a resident of Melrose since 1957. Mr. Prado owned and operated Valentines Bakery in Medford for over 25 years, retiring in 1969. George was one of the founding members and an usher at Incarnation Church in Melrose.He was the husband of the late Margaret (Wall) Prado & the late Mary (Herlihy) Prado. Father of Barbara Tomlin of FL and Virginia Viau & her husband Richard of Lowell.Dear friend of Wanda Forest of Melrose. Also survived by 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Wed. Sept. 21st, at 9AM. Funeral Mass in The Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St. Melrose, at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wed. morning from 8:309:30AM. Burial in Calvary Cemetery in Woburn. Memorial contributions may be made to the DYouville Senior Care Foundation, 981 Varnum Ave. Lowell 01852.
