George F. Fran Seaver passed away at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, Washington, on March 28th, he was 87. George was born in Boston, raised in Chelsea & Stoneham and graduated from Stoneham High School. He lived most of his life in Stoneham and the past 4 years in Sammamish, Washington, with his son Rich. Mr. Seaver worked as a manager at Railroad Express Agency in Boston for 30 years. After he retired, he worked as the dog officer in Stoneham for 5 years and then as the food & beverage manager at Woburn Country Club for 5 years. He was an avid golfer, a member of St. Patricks Church in Stoneham and a former member of the K of C in Stoneham. He was the husband of the late Mary F. (Lawless) Seaver. Father of Richard F. Seaver & his wife Lindsey of WA and Robert E. Seaver & his wife Pauline of Methuen. Grandfather of Tyler & Logan Seaver both of WA, Christopher Seaver MD of FL, Danielle Stare of NH and Marc Seaver of Ireland. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Sat. April 2nd, at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Patricks Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham, at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited.
