Geraldine A. "Gerry" (LeFave) Williams passed away at the Glenridge Nursing Center in Medford, on Monday, May 11, 2009. She was 87 years of age. Gerry was born and raised in Melrose and attended Melrose schools. She was a lifelong resident of Melrose. Gerry worked as a home health aide for the Intercity Homemaker Service for many years, retiring in 1988. Mrs. Williams was the wife of the late Carl F. Williams. Mother of Elizabeth A. Clark, Philip C. Williams and the late Geraldine Sgobbo & Carol Ann DiMuzio. Sister of the late Alice Manzi, Hubert Bath, Mildred Waterman, John LeFave & Dorothy Muir. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Thursday, May 14th at 10AM. Relatives & friends may gather at the funeral home prior to the service from 9:15-10:00AM. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
