Jerry, as he is known to most was a union carpenter in local 33 for most of his life. He grew up in Malden and moved to Melrose with his wife Mary of 68 years where they raised their family. His favorite past time was spent with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed golf and traveling to Florida for the winter. Jerry enjoyed the countless family gathers held at his home. He always had a great joke to tell and loved pulling out the guitar. Sing-a-longs were his favorite.
He looked forward to playing cards on Friday nights in Watertown with his in-laws and on Saturday nights with his brothers and sisters. He also enjoyed his many trips to Foxwoods and his trips across the meadow to Encore. His countless nieces, nephews and many family friends held a special place in his heart. There was always room at the table for one more. No one could light up a room like he could. He embraced life to it's fullest. He always had a kind word and a positive outlook. To his children he was their hero, he was someone you could always count on. If there was something that needed fixing, he knew how to fix it. A party was not complete unless he belted out "My Way". He certainly lived life his way. He will be forever in our hearts.
