Coleman, Gertrude E. (Power), of Melrose June 17th. Gertrude E. (Powers) Coleman died at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital June 17th at the age of 88. She was born in Concord, raised in Waltham & Medford, graduated from Medford High School and has lived in Melrose the past 46yrs. Gertrude was a homemaker, a member of Incarnation Church in Melrose and a past member of St. Mary's Church Alter Guild. She was the wife of the late Patrick S. Coleman. Mother of Rev. Joseph K. Coleman of Melrose and Joanne M. McPhee & her husband Brian of Melrose. Grandmother of Brian Patrick, Paul and Melissa McPhee. Sister of Margaret Leavitt of NY and Dorothy Sullivan of Brookline. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Thurs. June 20th at 8AM. Funeral mass in the Church of The Incarnation 425 Upham St. Melrose at 9AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wed. 4-8 PM.
