Obituary

Gertrude M. Fahey died after a short illness at Oosterman Nursing Home in Melrose on Friday March 2nd at the age of 93. Gertrude was born and brought up in Melrose, graduated from St. Mary's Grammar & St. Mary's High School. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of St. Mary's Church. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Fahey. Loving Mother of Mary J. Regan of Melrose, Barbara A. Winterson of Russell MA, Virginia M. Corbett of Ga, Kathleen A. Walker of Wakefield and Joseph J. Fahey of Hingham. Sister of the late Joseph Keough. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral from the Gately Funeral home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Wed. March 7th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St. Melrose at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery Stoneham.
