Gloria R. (Perrotta) Petti, of Melrose, died at the Peabody Glenn Health Care Center in Peabody on Nov. 12, 2014 at the age of 86. Gloria was born & raised in Everett and a graduate of Everett High school, Class of 1945. She was a homemaker and resided in Melrose for most of her life. Gloria enjoyed traveling with her late husband all over Europe, Florida, Alaska, Foxwoods, Cruises and Las Vegas many times. She loved to spend her time with her children and grandchildren. Gloria was a great cook and enjoyed knitting, sewing and arts & crafts. She was the beloved wife of the late Flaviano A."Flory" Petti for over 50 years. Loving mother of Steven R. Petti & his wife Marguerite, Marianne DelGenio & her husband Dennis, all of Danvers and Mark R. Petti & his wife Donna of Tewksbury. Grandmother of Kristine, Briana, Alyssa, Mark, Derek, Ryan & Justin. Sister of Thomas Perrotta & his wife Mary of GA, the late Anna Cintolo and Dorothy DiPierro. Also survived by nieces & nephews. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Tuesday, Nov. 18th, at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend.
