Grace Elizabeth (Kelly) Campbell passed away at Winchester Hospital, on February 19, 2011, at the age of 85. A lifelong resident of Melrose, Grace was born in town on June 27, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Edward L. &Katherine (Sheehan) Kelly. Grace was raised in Melrose, graduated from St. Mary's Grammar and St. Mary's High School. Before settling down and raising her family, she worked for several years at National Radio in Melrose. Mrs. Campbell was a big sports fan and took great pleasure in watching her 3 boys throughout their athletic careers. Grace enjoyed knitting and has been a lifelong member of St. Mary's Church. Mrs. Campbell was the beloved wife of the late Paul Campbell. Loving mother of Barry Campbell & his wife Michelle of Melrose, William Campbell & his wife Jeanne of Wakefield and Robert Campbell & his wife Rosanne of Kennebunk, ME. Devoted grandmother of Matthew, Andrea, Alyssa, Nicholas & Mark. Sister of the late Jim, John, Ed, Dan, Bill, George Kelly and Marie Brown. Sister-in-law of Peggy Kelly of Melrose. Also survived by numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Thursday February 24th at 8AM. A Funeral Mass to celebrate the life of Grace will be held at St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 9AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4:00-8:00PM. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
