Graham Christopher Smith passed away suddenly at Children's Hospital in Boston, on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the age of four months. He was the pride and joy of his parents; Topher & Erin Smith. Graham was born at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge on St. Patrick's Day, most fitting for the future Mayor of Boston. In Graham's 4 short months, he filled the hearts of everyone he met with incredible joy and laughter. He loved to be in on the action and surrounded by people, and lying in the bay window of his home watching his neighbors, the trees and the birds. The best day of his life was when he had finally grown big enough to be turned to face outward in his baby carrier so he could see the world and meet new friends on his walks with his parents. As a result of his vibrant personality, Graham collected many nicknames. Graham had many very special friends, was a great traveler and had already visited Michigan and Baltimore. His beautiful face and great smile will always be in the hearts of those who knew him. Graham was the beloved grandson of Melody Williston & Charlie Cook of MI, Mark Williston of OH and Ron & Debby Smith of NC. Adored godchild & nephew of Carson & Heidi Smith and adored nephew of Justin Williston. Special great grandson of Nancy Baldwin, Mary B. Rhoades and Betty Lou Smith as well as great great grandson of Marjorie English. Loving cousin of Emerson, Ethan, Elle, Isiah & Kara. Also survived by many cherished friends and family. A memorial service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Wednesday, August 6th at 11AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend.
