Gregoire DesRosiers passed away suddenly on January 21st at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, at the age of 70. Gregoire was born and raised in Haiti and came to the US in 1986. He has been a resident of Malden for the past 18 years, worked as a carpenter for several years and for Tufts University in Medford for the past 5 years. Mr. DesRosiers was the husband of Marie (Eugene) DesRosiers. Father of Charles, Frank, Greveline, Frank, Willie, Marjorie, Linda, Ashley Des Rosiers all of Haiti, Stevenson & Kettly DesRosiers both of Malden and Gregoire DesRosiers of Illinois. Brother of Jacqueline DesRosiers of Malden, Cecile DesRosiers of FL, Eimmacula Rosanna, Mary, Jacques, Anthony DesRosiers all of Illinois and Bernadette DesRosiers of Haiti. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Monday January 31st at 11:30AM. Funeral mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 12:00PM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Monday morning from 9:00-11:30AM. Burial in Forest Dale Cemetery Malden.
