Helen E. Duggan, 94, died at Lowell General Hospital friday evening after a brief illness. Born in Cambridge, she lived in most of her life Somerville and had graduated from Somerville High School. She had also spent many years residing in Melrose and Malden before entering Heritage Nursing Home in Lowell. Helen was an employee of Consolidated Paper Box Co. in Somerville for many years and a member of the Ladies Sodality at St Catherine of Genoa Church in Somerville. She was the daughter of the late James E. & Mary A. ( Curtis ) Duggan. Sister of the late Esther M. Devine, Mildred J. McPeake, James J. Duggan, Thomas C. Duggan, John E. Duggan, William F. Duggan, Dorothy A. Sullivan and Francis X. Duggan. Aunt of Sheila M. MacPherson of Wilmington, Joyce M. Graham of Billerica, Carol Ann Legere of Bedford and Paul E. Sullivan of Springvale ME. Great aunt of Kimberly J. Court & Kerri L. MacPherson of Orlando FL, and Kristina M. Sullivan & Marc L. Sullivan of Springvale ME. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W Foster St Melrose on Tuesday Oct 2 at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church, corner of Herbert & Myrtle Sts, Melrose, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours prior to the Mass from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
