Helen C. (McCarte) Lambert, of Melrose, formerly of Everett, died at the Winchester Hospital on March 14, 2015 at the age of 95. Helen was born & raised in Everett and a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1937. She was a homemaker and resided in Everett until 1967 and Melrose for the past 48 years. Helen was an active member of the Incarnation Church & Choir in Melrose for many years. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court Everett #324. Her grandchildren, church & family was the most important part of life. Helen was the beloved wife of the late John F. Lambert for 44 years. Loving mother of Mary Ellen Goodwin of Lexington and Eileen Montgomery of Wisconsin. Cherished grandmother of John, Mark, Meaghan, Sean, James, Katie and Maura. Predeceased by 10 brothers & sisters. Also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Saturday, March 21st at 9:45AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St., Melrose at 11AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours on Friday from 5-7PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
