Helen J. ( Quinn ) Martin, 93, died at home Wednesday after a brief illness. Born and raised in Arlington, she graduated from Arlington High Class of 1929. She was a homemaker, a parishioner of St Marys Church and member of the Ladies Sodality. Helen worked at Bobs Market for over 35 years and had been a Melrose resident for 71 years. Wife of the late Earl T. Martin. Mother of Earl T. Martin Jr.of Centerville, Joseph Martin , Florence Martin and Constance McLaughlin all of Melrose and the late John Martin. Aunt of Francis Quinn of Scituate. Sister of Florence Melanson of Arlington. Also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St Melrose on Saturday Aug 14th at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St Marys Church, corner of Myrtle & Herbert Sts, Melrose at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Fri 4 8 PM.
