Helen E. McLaughlin of Melrose, passed away Sept. 28, 2005, at The Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, she was 93 years old. Helen was raised in Melrose, graduated from St. Marys Grammar and High School. Helen was a member of St. Marys Church, The Ladies Sodality and was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order of Boston. She volunteered for many years at the Cancer Society of Boston. Helen was the aunt of Judith Johnson & her husband Robert of NY, John McLaughlin & his wife Candace of NH, Kathleen Roach of Middleton & Thomas McLaughlin & his wife Fay of Burlington. Sister of the late Elizabeth Testa, Gertrude Roach, John McLaughlin OSA, Thomas McLaughlin, & Florence Bell. Sister-in-law of Phyllis McLaughlin of NY. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Sat. Oct. 1st at 10AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 11AM. Family & friends invited. Visiting hours prior to the Mass Sat. morning from 10:00 to 10:45AM. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
