Helen R. (Toth) Pelrine, of Melrose, died at the Winchester Hospital on Jan. 13, 2014 at the age of 82. Helen was born in Melrose, raised in Everett, a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1949 and went on to Burdett Business School in Boston. Helen resided in Melrose and was a member & Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary's Church for many years. She was a member of the St. Mary's Ladies Sodality and a Past President of the Melrose Mothers of Twins Club. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, outings at Hampton Beach and Gloucester. Helen loved to spend her time with her children and grandchildren. She was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence B. Pelrine. Loving mother of Joseph L. Pelrine & his wife Mary, Nancy J. Viola & her husband Robert, all of Melrose, Joyce A. Pelrine of NH, Joanne Aghiarian & her husband Noubar of Medford, Linda J. Morrissey & her husband Sean of NH and Lisa J. Colucci & her husband David of Lynnfield. Cherished grandmother of Robert Jr., Jeffrey & Christine Viola, Matthew, Michelle and Stephen Aghiarian. Sean, Tracy, Maura, Kevin and Brian Pelrine, Nicholas, Danielle and Julia Colucci and David Morrissey. Caring sister of Mary Lawler & her late husband John, George Toth & his wife Anne, Margaret Guenette & her husband John, Leona McDonald & her late husband Gerald and John Toth & his wife Jeanne. Sister in law of Walter Pelrine of Walpole. Also survived by numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Friday, Jan. 17th at 8AM , followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Helen's name to St. Mary's Church, 46 Myrtle St., Melrose, MA 02176.
