Helen R. (Schwarz) Warman, of Melrose, died peacefully on Dec. 27, 2016 at the age of 96. She was born in Chelsea, MA on August 6, 1920 to John & Sarah (Hubbard) Schwarz. Helen was raised in Revere, and attended Revere High School. She worked at Schrafft's in Charlestown as well as Hood Ice Cream, in addition to raising her children and caring for her family. Helen was the beloved wife of the late James Warman. Loving mother of Linda Cummings of Tewksbury, Karen Barry & her husband Ray of Billerica, and the late James Warman. Proud grandmother of Michael, Dennis, Lisa, Laurie, Julie, Amy, and Ashley. Great-grandmother of Stephanie, Rachel, Kaitlin, Courtney, Tyler, Avery, Kaylee, and Gavin. Visiting Hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose, on Thursday, Dec. 29., from 4:00-8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 30., at 10 AM. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend.
