Helena G. Helen (Malfy) Marshall passed away at the Epoch Senior Care Center in Melrose, on December 14, 2006, she was 91. Helen was born in Boston, raised in East Boston and graduated from East Boston High School, Class of 1933. Mrs. Marshall worked as a waitress & in the executive dining room for the Chomerics Company in Woburn for many years, at the Chateau DeVille in Saugus & Framingham for a few years, Blinstrubs in Boston and at WT Grant 5 & Dime Store in Melrose. She was a resident of Melrose for the past 56 years and a member of the Community Associates in Melrose. Beloved wife of the late Joseph H. Marshall. Loving mother of John J.Jack Marshall & his wife Judith of Melrose. Devoted grandmother of Janet L. Marshall. Sister of Rita Tanner of E. Boston and the late Frederick Malfy, Henry Malfy, Sr. Mary Frederick, Lawrence Malfy & John Maffei. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Monday Dec. 18th at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St. Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6PM. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
