Helga C. (Kronman) Sampson, formerly of Everett & Malden, died at the Woburn Nursing Center in Woburn on Nov. 17, 2016 at the age of 85. Helga was born & raised in Everett and a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1949. She resided in Everett for 79 years and Malden for 6 years. Helga worked as a Warranty Administrator for Market Forge in Everett for many years and was very proud of her Swedish heritage. She enjoyed baking and her family was the most important part of her life. Helga was the beloved wife of the late Roland "Buddy" Sampson. Loving mother of Kristen Somerville & her husband Richard of Scarborough, Maine and Roland Sampson, Jr. & his wife Laura of Melrose. Cherished grandmother of Elizabeth, Charles, Amanda, Olivia & Kevin. Caring sister of the late Florence Wilderman, Arthur Anderson, Henry Gouthro & Carl Kronman. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Monday, Nov. 21st from 9-11AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Helga's memory to the Compassionate Care Hospice, 800 W.
