Ida S. (Vigliaroli) Bellone, of Melrose, died at the Woodbriar of Wilmington on May 30, 2012 at 98 years of age. Ida was born in the North End, raised in East Boston and attended East Boston Schools. She worked as an Instructor for B.F.Goodrich in Watertown for over 30 years before her retirement. Ida enjoyed cooking, gardening, dancing and made the best homemade pizza in the world. She loved reading the Boston Globe every day, all types of animals and her family was the biggest love of her life. She was the beloved wife of the late Gaetano Bellone for over 59 years. Loving mother of Joseph D. Bellone & his wife Stella of N. Chelmsford and Thomas G. Bellone & his wife Linda of Stoneham. Cherished grandmother of Joseph Guy Bellone of Acton, Eric T. Bellone & his wife Heather of Westford and Heather L. Centauro & her husband Barton of Salem. Great grandmother of Luke, Sophia Rose & Conor Bellone. Caring sister of the late Francesca DiCorato, Libra Davis & Michael Roli. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Saturday, June 2nd at 8AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Friday from 4-8PM. Burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, Boston.
