Irene (Puzinauskas) Biscoe passed away at the Epoch Senior Care Center in Melrose, on Thursday, January 10, 2008. She was 82 years of age. Irene was born in Lithuania to the late Paul & Sofia (Butkus) Puzinauskas and came to the United States in 1949. Mrs. Biscoe worked as a nursing assistant at the Normandy Nursing Home in Melrose (now the Epoch Nursing Center) for over 15 years. She has been a resident of Melrose for over 50 years as well as a member of St. Marys Church for over 50 years. Irene enjoyed sewing, crocheting and knitting. She was the loving mother of Raimonda Yetton of Melrose and Virginia B. Chernosky & her husband Edward of Plaistow, NH. Beloved grandmother of Ethan Yetton of Melrose. Sister Vytas Puzinauskas of MD, Kestutis Puzinauskas of Lithuania and Zenonas & Aldona Puzinauskas. Also survived by 4 nieces & 1 nephew. A memorial mass will be held at St. Marys Church Melrose in the spring. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Epoch Hospice Care, 615 Heath St., Chestnut Hill, 02467.
