Irene M. (Pare) Lepere, of Amherst, NH, formerly of Melrose & Stuart, FL, died at Langdon Place in Nashua, NH on June 7, 2011 at the age of 84. Irene was born in Haverhill, raised in Boston and was a graduate of Roxbury Memorial High School for Girls. She was a homemaker who resided in Melrose for 25 years and Stuart, FL for 10 years. Irene and her late husband enjoyed boating & traveling on cruises to Europe, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Most of all, she loved staying at home and taking care of her family. Irene was the loved wife of the late Francis X. Lepere for over 60 years. Loving mother of Edward Lepere & his wife Julie of Las Vegas, Paul Lepere & his wife Gail of Seabrook, NH, Gene Lepere & his wife Denise of Everett, Kenneth Lepere & his wife Brenda of Arizona, Mary Carlson & her husband Mark of Amherst, NH and the late Frances Lepere. Caring sister of Joan Martens and Albert Pare and the late Paul, Gilbert, Norman, Richard and Arthur Pare. Also survived by 9 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Monday, June 13th at 7:45AM. Funeral Mass in St. Francis Church, 325 Cambridge St., Cambridge at 9:30AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Sunday from 2-6PM. Burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, Boston.
