Isabel J. (Cabral) Linskey, of Wellington, FL, formerly of Melrose, died at her home on Nov. 25, 2017 at the age of 93. Isabel was born in East Boston, raised in Somerville and a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy in Boston and went on to earn her degree from Fisher College in Boston. She worked at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital in Radiology & Oncology and resided in Melrose for 35 years and the past 23 years in Florida. Isabel was a founding member of the Church of the Incarnation in Melrose and enjoyed baking & cooking. She loved to travel and enjoyed going on cruises and spending time at the summer home in Maidstone Lake Vermont and Little Ossipee Lake in N. Waterboro, Maine. Isabel was the beloved wife of Donald G. Linskey for 64 years. Loving mother of Margaret Eaton & her husband Kevin of South Easton, Michael Linskey & his wife Shari of Boxford, James Linskey & his wife Patricia of Burlington, John Linskey & his wife Joanne of Tewksbury, Mary Ann Linskey of Hilton Head, SC and Edward Linskey & his wife Dianna of Holbrook. Cherished grandmother of Jimmy, Kevin II, Colleen, Chris, Andrew, Megan, Bobby, Mat, Katie, Michael, Mark, Kellie and Stacy. Great grandmother of Kevin III, Carter, Brady, Shannon, JP, Cassidy, Colin, Charlotte, Nolan, Manuel Jr. & Cole. Caring sister of the late Edward & George Cabral. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives & friends. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday, Nov. 30th from 4-8PM. Procession from the Gately Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 1st at 8:45AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St., Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be private.
