James Richard Burnell died in Chelsea, on February 27, 2006, he was 42. James was born in Boston, raised in Melrose and was a 1981 graduated of Melrose High School. James worked in the security field for Apollo Security in Boston for many years and then for Guardsmark in Boston for the last few years. He lived in Malden & Boston and most of his life in Melrose. James was the beloved son of Judith E. Matson. Loving brother of Scott R. Burnell of Lunenburg and Stephen R. Burnell of Melrose. Funeral services will be held at Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Thursday, March 2nd at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday morning from 10:0011:30AM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
