James R. Primiano, 46, died at Brigham & Women's Hospital Boston Monday after a lengthy illness. Born in Attleboro, Jim was raised in Braintree, graduated from Brintree High in 1973 and from St Louis University with his Physical Therapist degree in 1977. He was a resident of Melrose for over 20yrs.Jim was a Physical Therapist for many years and, at the Winchester Hospital Home Care for the past three years. He was the husband of Christine R.( Ricciardone ) Primiano. Father of Michael J. and Matthew H. Primiano both of Melrose. Son of Mary E. ( McCue ) Primiano and the late Louis N. Primiano. Brother of Elizabeth Hancock of Unionville, CT, Anne Russo of Natick and John Primiano of Val Rico, FL. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St Melrose on Thursday April 19 at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in the Church of the Incarnation , 429 Upham St at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 - 8 pm.
