Janet Jordan Keenan, 82, of Melrose, died peacefully on March 15th, 2024. She was born in Revere and raised in Everett. Janet was the devoted daughter of Alfred and Catherine (Argenzio) Jordan. Beloved wife of Ron Keenan of Melrose; and his niece Marialice Dee and her husband Sean, and their son Curran. She is survived by her brother Frederick Jordan and his late wife Marilyn (Celia) Jordan of Peabody. Predeceased by her brothers Robert Jordan and James Jordan. Also survived by her nieces and nephews; Frederick Jordan; Joseph Jordan and his daughter Alexa; Laurie Jordan; Anthony Jordan and his wife Cheryl, and Anthony's children Dakota and Hunter; Jennifer Jordan and her son Rocco.

Janet had a great love for animals. She was also known for helping the elderly and giving a car ride to anyone who needed it. Janet worked at the New England Telephone Company in Boston as the assistant supervisor in the graphics department for thirty years. She was a kind, caring, loving and generous person. Janet's Catholic faith carried her through the many ups and downs of life.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St., Lynnfield, on Wednesday, March 20th, 2024, at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow the mass at Glenwood Cemetery in Everett, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Janet's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Inc., 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
