Jean E. (Marino) Casey died after a courageous battle with breast cancer at Winchester Hospital Oct. 1st at the age of 51. She was born in Hartford CT, raised in Avon and Farmington CT, graduated from Farmington High Class of 1968 and attended College of Miseracordia in PA. Jean lived in Centerville MA on Cape Cod for 16yrs and Melrose MA for the past 18yrs. While living on Cape Cod Jean worked at Cape Cod Hospital for many years and then at Malden Hospital & Hallmark Health as a Cardio Sonographer for many years. Most recently she started her own hat making business called Lizabeth's Garden Hats. Jean was a longtime member of Bellevue Golf Club in Melrose, enjoyed cooking, photography and traveling with her husband Stephen. She was the wife of Attorney Stephen E. Casey. Daughter of Guido & Elizabeth (Wood) Marino of Farmington CT. Sister of Michael J. Marino of Farmington CT & Melinda Morrissette of Granby CT. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Thursday Oct. 4 at 9AM. Funeral mass in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church 1155 Main St. Wakefield at 10 AM.
