Jean A. (Morehead) Glynn, of Beverly, formerly of Melrose, died at the Beverly Hospital on Dec. 25, 2014 at the age of 86. Jean was born & raised in Malden and attended Malden High School. She resided in Malden until 1961, Melrose till 1982 and Beverly for the past 32 years. Jean was a homemaker, Artist and former owner of an Art Studios in Melrose. She enjoyed spending time at Lake Winnipesaukee and had many cultural & political interests. The most important part of Jean's life was spending one on one time with her grandchildren. She was the beloved wife of James E. Glynn for 63 years. Loving mother of James K. Glynn & his wife Marie of Beverly, Daniel G. Glynn & his wife CuiLian of TX, Thomas M. Glynn & his late wife Maia of Melrose and the late Mary Jean. Cherished grandmother of James, Matthew, Jing and Victoria. Caring sister of Sarah Ivaldi of Weymouth, William Morehead of NH, Jackie Morehead of FL and the late Mary Ward, Ellen McDonald and Norman Morehead. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Tuesday, Dec. 30th from 9AM-12PM, followed by a Graveside Service at Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
