Jean Marie (Barrett) Tallberg died suddenly at home May 1st at the age of 73. Jean Marie was born in Boston, raised in Milton, graduated from St. Gregorey High School in Dorchester & Regis College in Weston. She lived in Melrose from 1956 - 1989, Duxbury, Merrimac NH and then back to Kingston the past several years. She worked as an administrative assistant for several semi conductor manufacturing companies in the Boston area and for Attny. Troy of Melrose for several years. Burial will take place in Wyoming Cemetery Melrose. She was the wife of the late William E. Tallberg. Mother of Eric D. Tallberg & his wife Arlene of Amesbury, Rolf W. Tallberg of CA, Kirsten A. Underwood & her husband John of Chelmsford and the late William E. Tallberg Jr. Grandmother of Eric, Benjamin, Katrin, Anders, Virginia, Robin and Kenneth. Also survived 2 great grandchildren, 5 sisters and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Friday May 4th at 11AM.
