February 10, 1930 – December 3, 2025
Jeanne Marie Savage, beloved wife, mother, nana and great nana passed away peacefully at the home where she raised her five children on December 3, 2025.
Jeanne lived a full life in which she loved to travel, bake and watch all the New England Sports. She was an active member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish for over 50 years. Here she was a member and officer in the Guild, devoted cub scout leader, Eucharistic Minister and Senior Altar Server. Jeanne was raised in Everett where she attended the Catholic Girls School. She went on to attend Katherine Gibbs School of Business, followed up by working at American Mutual for 15 years. She moved to Melrose in 1956 with her husband Bill where they raised their five children.
Jeanne is predeceased by her husband F. William Savage (Bill) and her grandson Nicholas. She is survived by her son Bill and his wife Denise, her son and primary caregiver Bob and his wife Karen, her son Rick and his wife Kathy, her daughter Jeanmarie, and her son Tom and his wife Maureen. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Beth and her husband Joel, Christine, Bryan and his Wife Kelley, Jonathan and his wife Anne, Bonnie, Vincent, John and his wife Shannon, Megan and her significant other Edward, Michael and his wife Lyndsay, Ben and his significant other Rebecca, Daniel and his wife Rebecca and Molly and her husband Matthew. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Elliott, Zephyr, Devlin, Rian, Anora, Kieran, Audrey, Alex, Olivia, Eddie, Ruth, Callie, James and Laurel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10am on Friday, December 12, 2025. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment to follow in Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
