Jeannie Marie Smith

Born May 29, 1953, to the late Edward and Ruth Smith, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025.

Jeannie was a loving sister to Eileen Mulgrew, Edward Smith and his wife, Marie, and Joe Smith and his wife, Lisa. She was preceded in death by her dear brother-in-law, Paul Mulgrew.

Jeannie was also a devoted aunt to many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

She will be fondly remembered for never forgetting a birthday and always sending a thoughtful birthday card.

She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 10:30AM-11:30AM, followed by a funeral home service at 11:30AM. Interment to follow at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jeannie's name to Bridgewell, 10 Dearborn Rd, Peabody, MA 01960.
