Jennie K. Daggett died after a long illness at Courtyard Nursing Home in Medford Dec. 19th at the age of 77. Jennie was born in Eastport Maine, raised in Eastport and graduated from Shead High School in Eastport. Jennie lived most of her life in Malden. She worked as a secretary and retail clerk in the family lobster business, Conley & Daggett Inc, from the 1940's to mid 1970's. She was the daughter of the late George & Elizabeth ( Ayub ) Daggett. Loving sister of Elizabeth Chadwick of Saugus and the late Helen F. Daggett, Alice Daggett, Dewey Daggett, Ina D. Mann and Alonzo Daggett. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held in the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W Foster St. Melrose on Friday Dec 28 at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours prior to the funeral service from 10 AM to 12 Noon. Burial will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
