Jermaine Ricardo Holness, born on June 2, 1986, He was 39 years old. to his loving parents Dianne and Milton Holness, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at MelroseWakefield Hospital.

Jermaine leaves behind his devoted family: his brother Sean; his grandmother Hermine; his uncles Bobby and grand-uncles; his aunts Heather and Cecille; and his grandaunts; cousins; and a host of extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Jermaine was a proud graduate of Portmore Missionary Preparatory School in St. Catherine, Jamaica; Wolmer’s Boys’ School in Kingston, Jamaica; and the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where he pursued his creative passions.

A celebration of Jermaine’s life will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM in the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster Street, Melrose. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 12:00 PM in the Gately Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Wyoming Cemetery, 205 Sylvan Street, Melrose.
