Jerome J. ''Jerry'' Loycano died suddenly at Melrose Wakfield Hospital in Melrose on May 18th at the age of 64. He was born and raised in Everett, graduated from Everett High and has lived in Melrose the past 37yrs. Jerry was co-owner of the Elm St. Market in Everett for 43yrs. He started the market at the age of 21 and has worked there ever since. Jerry served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was the husband of Marguerite ''Margie'' (Montalbano) Loycano. Father of Charles J. Loycano & his wife Diane of Melrose and Christine M. Price & her husband Jay of Brockton. Brother of Joan Frangioso of Norwood and Diana Loycano of Watertown. Grandfather of Christopher, Michael and Timothy. Also survived by 4 nieces. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Monday May 21st at 9 AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert & Myrtle St. Melrose at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sat. 7-9PM, Sunday 4-8 PM. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
