Joan M. Molyneaux died after a brief illness at Mass. General Hosp. March 18th at the age of 56. She was born and raised in Malden, graduated from the Chevrus Grammar & Chevrus High School. Joan has lived in Melrose for the past 30yrs. She worked for the City of Malden in the Housing Authority and as billing clerk for several years and had previously worked in the accounts receivable department at Bay State Produce in Chelsea for 23yrs. Joan was a longtime member of St. Mary's Church. She was the wife of David A. Molyneaux. Mother of David A. Molyneaux Jr. & his wife Laurie of Billerica, Deborah A. Hooton & her husband Timothy of N.Chelmsford, Scott E. Molyneaux & his wife Candice of Fl and Brian C. Molyneaux of Melrose. Sister of Mary DePrato of Everett. Grandmother of Brendan, Ashley, Brett, Carly, Matthew and Kyle. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Thurs. March 22nd at 8 AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St. Melrose at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wed. 2-4 & 7-9PM. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery Malden.
