JoAnne Cargill Galiatsatos, died at the North Shore Medical Center in Salem on June 8, 2010 at the age of 49. JoAnne was born & raised in Melrose and attended Melrose High School. She worked as an Inspector for Analogic in Wilmington for several years. JoAnne resided in Melrose until 1980, Pennsylvania for 5 years, Florida for 4 years and Salem for several years. She was the devoted daughter of the late Edwin & Beverly (Runge) Cargill. Cherished mother of Jeremy Kane of Malden. Loving sister of Ernest Cargill, Robert Cargill, Donald Cargill, Maureen Lucey, James Cargill, Janet Miller, Beverly Cargill, Denice Greski, Lawrence Cargill, Dorothy Pinkham, John Cargill and the late Edwin Cargill. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Monday June 14th at 11:00AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 11:30AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours Monday prior to the Mass from 9:00-11:00AM in the funeral home. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
