John H. Clinton of Wakefield passed away Saturday, May 26, 2007 at The Melrose Wakefield Hospital. He was 62 years old. Born in Melrose to the late Thomas & Rose (DiDonato) Clinton, John graduated from Wakefield High School, Worcester Poly Tech & Wentworth College. He was employed for over 20 years in California as an engineer before his retirement a few years ago. He served as a Second Lieutenant with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. John was the caring cousin of Linda M. Philpot of Melrose. He is also survived by several other cousins. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Monday, June 4th at 8:30AM. Funeral Mass in St. Josephs Church 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 10AM. Family & friends invited. Visiting hour from 8:30-9:30AM the morning of the funeral.
