Obituary

John T. 'Budie' Goff passed away at the Soldier's Home in Chelsea on Feb. 21st at the age of 83. He was born and raised in Chelsea, graduated from Chelsea High, lived in Everett most of his life and the past 3 years in Melrose. John worked as a painter for 15 years and in security for the Schram's Candy Factory in Everett for 20 years. Budie served in the US Navy during WWII for 4 years. He was the husband of the late Bertina (Schram) Goff. Father of Linda K. Molineax of Melrose and Karen J. Goff of Everett. Brother of Peter Goff of Chelsea and the late Lucy Hilton, Mildred Barry, Marion Reardon, Lawrence Goff & James Goff. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Wed. Feb.25th at 10:15AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 11:15AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visting hours Tues. 4-8PM. WWII Navy Veteran. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
